About Megna
Megna Jain is an entrepreneur, baker and public speaker. She runs an online bakery called Dream a Dozen with an all-women kitchen in Bangalore with the dream of expanding across the world one day. Dream a Dozen specialises in gifting and celebrations for individuals and corporates.
She's a cheerleader for all business people, especially business women. At the age of 18, she started selling cupcakes to her university's cafeteria and never looked back. Today, she leads a team of 20 women that deliver desserts and gift boxes to thousands of customers across the country. They pride themselves in upskilling girls from lesser privileged communites with baking and giving them employment in the kitchen. They also partner with a self-help group of women when they need temporary staff and merchandise during festive seasons.
Megna did her B.Com honours from Christ University, which was followed by a stint at a foodtech startup called InnerChef and training at Cakewala. She completed the 10k women entrepreneur program by IIM Bangalore, sponsored by Goldman Sachs in 2021.
Megna's work has been recognized nationwide. She was selected as the youngest of 4 women achievers by Tanishq in their 3-month long campaign #Everywomanadiamond where she was shown on hoardings and newspapers across 30+ cities in India. She has also been written about in leading publications like Vogue, YourStory and Prajawani.
She is a TedX speaker and is passionate about encouraging more people, especially women to choose entrepreneurship. She often takes out time to speak to aspiring entrepreneurs and pay it forward. Megna dreams of opening kitchens globally, where she can employ more women and change the representation of women in business and F&B.

Dream a Dozen is a Gifting & Celebrations company in Bangalore, India.
We take immense pride in operating a cloud bakery with an All-Women kitchen, a remarkable achievement considering the stark gender disparity that exists in the culinary industry. Statistics reveal that only a mere 3% of chefs in commercial kitchens are female. By defying the odds, we are breaking barriers and creating a platform where women from disadvantaged communities can thrive and upskill.
All the products we bake are 100% eggless & made with no added preservatives. We believe that "Empowered Women, Empower Women" and love working & collaborating with businesses with similar values and ethos.
We cater to a lot of corporate companies for their office pantry, and festive gifting and ship gift hampers across the country all through the year for new joinees and company celebrations. We also work on their employee engagement activities by conducting baking workshops, creating DIY dessert kits, and more!
Moreover, our reusable gift boxes also contain hand-crafted items we have sourced from women-based NGOs or women entrepreneurs to help support our cause.
In the past 5 years of our establishment, we've worked with over 100+ corporate companies including Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, EY, Indiqube, Cisco, Ericsson, KPMG, Narvar, and many more.
While corporate collaborations are a significant part of our business, we also cater to personal celebrations. Our expertise extends to designing wedding cakes, creating dessert tables, and providing unique return gifts for weddings and other events. Furthermore, we offer prompt dessert deliveries to individuals across Bangalore, ensuring everyone can savor our delightful creations.
